I tried this mask when it arrived and it went well, I thought.
I tried it again over the weekend and my face was very red and hot after I washed it off.
Not sure if I left it for longer than 20 minutes, or should have left it on for even less time (maybe 10 min max), but it was a little scary. I had a very clear outline of where the mask was.
After putting on a cold compress to calm the skin, the redness finally went away after about an hour.
I have to say, my skin is glowing, but not sure if I will use the mask again, unless there is some hidden safety instruction I should follow.
In conclusion - skin will glow after a minor burn, so be careful and patch test, and maybe leave the mask on for a much shorter time than suggested. Just in case.
Leaving 3 stars, as perhaps I may just be allergic to one of the ingredients - so not the product's fault.

I love both of Real Purity's masks! The Green Apple has a great very light fragrance. The mask goes on smooth, dries well and leaves my skin toned and hydrated revealing a brighter complexion. Seems to minimize fine lines and evens out skin tone and texture. Leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth and gives my skin a youthful glow.

I tried a sample of this Mask because and haven't tried any others from Real Purity. It smells alright and dries quickly, but after rinsing and the next day my skin still felt noticeably drier. I haven't tried any others as I want my skin to feel smooth and fresh rather than parched. Hi Ashleigh, we're so sorry that you were disappointed with this particular mask formula! Each of our masks have slightly different purposes, and it might be that another would be more moisturizing for your skin type. I contacted the company after purchasing and explained to them the directions were not on the container (see previous review) and they responded promptly saying the matter had been taken care of. After using the product for a few weeks I really like it.
